I’ve always believed that there’s value in conveying as much meaning as possible in as few words as possible.
It’s not just a matter of economy.
I’m convinced that a simple pearl of wisdom or advice can have a more lasting impact if it’s standing alone in the spotlight than if it’s surrounded by thousands of unnecessary words.
My fantasy
I confess that for years I’ve had a fantasy of someday being able to craft a single sentence that can do as much lasting good for a reader as an entire good book on the same topic could possibly do.
Let’s make a deal
So, can we make a deal? If I remove all the word clutter that makes it harder to truly appreciate a simple but exceptionally powerful idea about following through, will you promise to take a few minutes to think – I mean, seriously and deeply think — about what this sentence means for you?
If you want to get it done, you’ve got to make it FEEL NECESSARY.
You’ll learn all about making it feel necessary in the Follow Through Master Program.
