Now that you’ve been introduced to seven different follow through strategies, I’ll let you in on a secret. It doesn’t really matter if you can’t remember which strategy is which. You’ll do fine as long as you remember these three points:
- Because your intentions are not self-implementing, you always need to take the deliberate step of positioning them for success. Always!
- There are proven strategies available to help you take that step. Some of them are pretty straightforward and obvious, and some are downright counterintuitive. Each strategy will make it possible for you to keep a big promise if — and only if –– you’re willing and able to make and keep the unique little promise that particular strategy requires. Like all tools, follow through strategies will only work if you use them.
- The more you practice using follow through strategies, the better you’ll get at using them and the better you’ll get at following through.
In the next and final course, A Follow Through Mindset, you’ll learn how to adopt a mental attitude that treats your intentions with the respect they deserve and need to be as effective as possible. The final course will pull together everything you’ve learned so far and pave the way for you to reap the benefits of having a mind that’s fully equipped to do the all-important job of following through.
